Airifix v1.2 Race Demo Car started life as a Cooper S R56 N14 with the intention to become a competitor at the Time Attack Championship 2025.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in the Time Attack Championship 2025 with our Mini R56 Race car. This is a highly competitive event that teams and their vehicles are against one another in a race against the clock. We have been preparing for this event for months and are confident that our Mini R56 is up to the challenge.

Our team has put in countless hours of work to optimize the performance of our Mini R56. We have made several modifications to the car, including suspension upgrades, aerodynamic enhancements, and engine tuning. We are excited to compete in this event and are determined to put on a strong performance. We know that the competition will be fierce, but we are confident that our Mini R56 is up to the task.

In order to ensure the R56 N14 provide the perfect base for what we wanted to achieve, we first had to reassure that the car was as good as it could be before taking it further. With this in mind, we removed the engine and complete a full engine rebuild in house. The list of engine internals we use as follows:

With the engine finally completed we focused on the exterior and brakes. Our decision was to design a billet aluminium bracket to utilise a big 4 pot calliper from Brembo, custom HEL brake lines, 330×26 floating disc in combination with PBS Comp pads and Motul RBF 660 Racing Brake Fluid.
