Airifix Mini Cooper S/JCW R56 N14 Air Filter Relocation Kit
Airfix cold air intake relocation kit is a performance upgrade for vehicles that aims to improve the engine’s breathing and overall performance by relocating the air intake system to a location where it can draw in cooler and denser air.
This kit features a high-quality silicone hose, heat shield, and all necessary hardware for easy installation. The heat shield protects the air intake from engine heat, ensuring cool and dense air is fed into the engine.
The AIRIFIX Air Intake Relocation Kit is designed to fit a variety of vehicle models with N14 engine. The kit is also backed by a limited warranty for peace of mind.
The AiriFix Performance Cold Air Intake kit improves horsepower and torque by replacing and relocating your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing.
Note1: The kit doesn’t work on maf cars AND the N18 engine.
Note2: After testing and feedback from our first kit we have removed the top lid to improve the intake/turbo sound.

Great kit, all parts included. Looks fantastic when in place, and is doing what it should. Well made and robust, quality parts used. Only comment I would make is possibly a small instruction sheet for people not quite as mechanically savvy to help with the fitting, although it is straight forward.

Just fitted this kit to my R55 cooper S. It’s already tuned to 259bhp but was running a open filter at the rear of the engine. This new air filter and position is a game changer….
Some results with this intake,
Ambient air temp 18.7° intake temp at normal running 20°. Heavy boost saw 28° but with in seconds back down to 20°. My old filter would run 5 or 6° more than Ambient temp and see 37° plus on Heavy boost and not recover so quick.
Good kit little modification to make fit but so worth it.

I am running this cold air intake on my Mini Cooper S R56 for about a year now. It is clearly one of the best mods that I have on my car. In terms of the intake temperature, it’s usually 2-3 degrees more than the ambient air temperature. A huge difference compared to the stock air filter. In terms of the sound, there is no comparison. Highly recommend this and a big thank you to Rafa for providing me with this kit.
